Deep-Fried Bagpipes started as a project to support Indian students moving to Edinburgh for the first time. For the two years it was live, it very much lived up to its purpose. It brought me a lot of joy to be able to help so many people through what I know is a stressful, and often lonely, time.

As I've grown and moved out of Edinburgh, this site is taking a detour. I still have things to share, but the things on my mind now are navigating a post-uni world, adulting, and exploring my new home base: London! There may still be occasional blasts from the past, when nostalgia strikes, but generally, this blog will be more experiential and reflective than informational. At the end of the day, you know, gilrls just wanna have fun.
